SILICONE VAPOR SHIELD

The specific application for this product is for areas which have humidity as a problem. This underlayment is made of 6 mil. wet strength paper that has a baked Silicone coating on one side, which provides a vapor shield. It is an environmentally GREEN product made of 100% Recycled contents. It does not allow moisture to penetrate to the hardwood flooring planks.

This underlayment will protect the hardwood flooring from the sub-floor moisture. Planks slide effortlessly across the Silicone surface. The Underlayment doesn’t leave a black residue which keeps the install and their work area clean. The Silicone Vapor Shield enables you to make a clear visible chalk line. Our Silicone Vapor Shield is a GREEN product that does not have toxic components; therefore it will not release any poisonous gases. Each pallet has 120 rolls of 400 sq.ft.

LATEX UNDERLAYMENT

The application for this product is for areas where humidity is not a major problem. The underlayment is made of 7 mil. bleached wood fiber based paper which is then saturated in liquid latex. The smooth surface of this type of underlayment offers vapor barrier protections, and allows air flow between the sub-floor and hardwood flooring.

BENEFITS & FEATURES

The Underlayment rolls weigh 14 lbs which makes them easy to carry, flooring planks slide easily over it’s smooth surface. It does not leave a residue on hands or any other surfaces nor does it release any toxic gases during or after installation. Each pallet contains 120 rolls of 400 sq.ft.
